Rammjet
MacOSX has the System Profiler. What would equivalent software be for Windows? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20549-system-profiler-equivalent-on-pc/ Share on other sites

Rammjet
I've tried CPU-Z and I couldn't find where it told me anything about things like hard drive controllers, etc. Only CPU and memory. Perhaps I wasn't seeing everything it has to offer. gwprod12
Well... If someone just wants a straightforward app that says "THis is what the device is, this is the device ID and vendor ID, I've got one. Rammjet
Thanks. Home Edition is no longer available for download (from Everest - other download sites still have it) but Ultimate is available from some usual places. Well... If someone just wants a straightforward app that says "THis is what the device is, this is the device ID and vendor ID, I've got one. Whatcha got? gwprod12
This is just pretty basic. What I intend to do is to have to determine if there are valid solutions for each device and to create a list of things to do to make them work. (This is just ACPI, PCI and HDAUDIO for now) I cant upload a RAR file, I assume for DMCA reasons. Any suggestions on a file host? http://www.webfilehost.com/?mode=viewupload&id=9686106 It's a pain, but it works.
