Internal Display GMA950 Laptop its not working! Aspire 3680

I'm doing a fresh install.

 

I used Empire EFI 1.085 and then inserted the Snow Leopard DVD. It started to work (apple logo, loading spin) but then it went to a gray screen. Stalled.

 

What can I do? Do I install kext's before even selecting the language I want when installing?

Guys, I too have the intel gma950 card in toshiba laptop A135-S4467 naum .... and work at all .... some even managed to make it work??

heylo! i'm trying to install SL 10.6 on my girlfriend's Aspire 3680.

 

i found some Extensions via a YouTube video. crazy i know.

these are the kexts i have in my Extra folder:

 

AHCIPortInjector.kext

ATAPortInjector.kext

SleepEnabler.kext (actually disabled - caused kernel panics)

VoodooBattery.kext

VoodooHDA.kext

VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext

fakesmc.kext (v2.5)

 

i am having the same issues as the person above with regards to video.

so installing natit is the answer?

 

also, the keyboard and trackpad aren't working. ethernet and wireless are not as well.

i've repaired the permissions and used kext utility on the Extensions folders.

 

i'm booting with Chameleon RC4 and Netkas' PC-EFI 10.6.

does the Empire EFI have something different going on.

 

i do not have a DSDT.aml in place. can anyone provide one for me?

Hi I'm new to all of this, never considered my self to be that great with computers before this week!

I have a Dell latitude d620 graphics card intell 950gma, kalyway 10.5.2.

 

Basically had every thing working; sound, wireless, usb (after installing a new network card a variety of kexts).

 

But i got cocky and thought I'd try fixing the fuzzy resolution (I only have options of less than 1024x768 and I need 1280x800) after using the kext helper to install this kext http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=143340 (v3) I rebooted (yes I know i should have performed some intermediate steps but I didn't because I'm an idiot, I also know now ths s not designed for laptops... so lets except that and move on...)

 

I'm at my wits end because when I boot now all I get after the apple loading screen is complete black. Please help! I have assignments on that computer that are due next week and no way of accessing any of my files etc. I've tried booting in safe mode, to no avail.

 

I'm happy to keep the fuzzy resolution, I just want my screen back!

 

PLEASE HELP!
