thepgo
Try deleting sleep enabler first and check if that causes the problem. If yes, then install sleepenabler for 10.6.2 http://code.google.com/p/xnu-sleep-enabler/ Here you can download SleepEnabler.kext.10.6.2.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203378-kernel-panic-after-1062-update/#findComment-1367494 Share on other sites

taney
did you try taking out sleep enabler completely? if that doesn't work, try removing dsmos and using fakesmc. when i updated to 10.6.2 from 10.6, I got KP from dsmos. Thanks I think you need to rebuild your kext cache as well. Try booting with -v -f and see if that helps. Detre
I had the same Problem. Boot the system in verbose mode(-v), that points out to the JMicron controller , i remove the kexts and the System boot up again and the I reinstall it, and I have Snow kitty back. It may solve, try pay attention in the text when boot in verbose mode, if points out any device has cause the kp, in my case when the JMicron 363 Loaded the System reported panic. I hope it helps!
