Could anybody please let me know if he / she was able to get an AMD processor based hackintosh

running Leopard as dual core?

It doesn' t matter if that was in 32 bit mode.

Which kernel, distro and Leopard version was used?

At the moment i am running on my AMD the old zephyroth distro in single core mode.

Some apps are slow sometimes.

Thanks a lot

Alright. Just about any distro with the Voodoo kernel should work. I'd recommend going with Leopard because as far as I know there are still some problems with SL and AMD non-vanilla systems. Personally I've had great success with iAtkos v7 and it has Voodoo 9.5.0 and 9.7.0. I'm not familiar with the distro you mentioned, what OS version is it?

Thanks for the help, i will give it a try

Zephyrot is one of the early leopard distros specialized for amd systems

Does your software update works alright too?

When you do a software update, you will have to backup your kernel and your extensions directory in case the update puts in some evil stuff. You'll also have to upgrade your seatbelt and dsmos kexts. Look at this page.

Thanks for the help

I used the voodoo kernel and it seems to work fine.

However I have a problem when running in dual core mode, and that is losing the network connection after sometime and not being able to re-establish it somehow.

Has anybody solved this type of problem?
