Mr.Techie456 Posted December 25, 2009 Author Share Posted December 25, 2009 Because Windows XP and Vista are different distributions of Windows (and from experince Windows Vista sucks), where Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate are both in the same family but sold as different flavors. Plus Windows 7 Enterprise is basically the same as Windows 7 Ultimate, but Enterprise is only open to orginizations such as colleges. On top of that the Enterprise license can be used on multiple PCs (or Macs). As Ultimate can be bought by anyone and the license can be used on one PC (or Mac) at a time. So, you will not be able to install Ultimate with Enterprise key As said by Haney, you may consider installing Enterpise.. I have even tried using keygens and mods that say they work with each other and that they have patches installed that make it possible, BUT IT DOESNT... As it was working with my desktop I purchased just a key of professional edition and installed the same cd in my laptop with this professional key. It gone well and the system automatically installed w7 professional edition. I think you can use any key. It's all on the key leading which os should be installed.. Between Ultimate and other versions, Ultimate need more resources. And will use more ram.
