Have tried several Distros even the Rebel EFI from Psystar and doesn't work.

 

Here you have the specs of the board.

 

Chipset - Intel® X58 Express Chipset

Processor - Core I7 920

Audio - Intel® High Definition Audio, based in the above chipset

 

Video Card: 9800GT

RAM: 6Gigs DD3

HDDP: 1.75 TB

Doesn't work.

After it says booting from CD drive it just restarts the computer :rolleyes:

Tried disabling Hyper Threading, reducing the cores to 1....

Witch one of the empire efi cd's did you use.. and did you remember to use a retail snow leopard dvd

 

The 1.08 x58 did the same thing for me, however the 1.06 worked like a champ on my Alienware Aurora x58.

Sorry for the delay, been busy with some designs....

this is the one that I used EmpireEFI_V1.04, will try the one suggested by kyle.

 

Lets see....

Was able to boot with this last Empire EFI but still not able to install it, please see below:

In order to be able to boot it had to disable HT and leave the Cores down to 1

1 - Insert Leopard DVD and press F5

2 - When selecting the empty HDD it shows me the below error.

 

Will try getting a new Leopard Image to see if this solves this issue.
