Specifically, I am using this combination and it is a great way for using a mini PCI-e card within a desktop system. The DELL card works native in OSX (as airport) and in Windows and is wireless n. For me, this way of tackling wifi is the best option and better than any USB solutions which always seem a bit of a compromise as they rely on extra drivers.
