sjpapa
Hello, Installed successfully Mac OS X 10.6.1 Server on GA-EP43-DS3L, Now install the disk into a GA-EP43-UD3L and cannot boot anymore.... Malformed Mach-0 file and waiting for root device. both MB have same ICH10 chipsets, ALC888, are more or less identical. How can I get past this nuissance? What is the difference of moving a working Mac OS X disk into another machine? Repaired permission use Chameleon RC3. sjpapa
AHCI was reseting repeatedly to IDE by BIOS glitch So stupid: The MB kept resetting the AHCI tick to IDE. Thus it could not boot... Apparently the BIOS-reset bug kept resetting the BIOS it IDE, although AHCI was ticked.
