beastacular
i have tried -v, -x, etc but the installation always reboots itself. i know the dvd (iDeneb) works cuz i installed on laptop. i have tried a different version (iPC) and same problem occurs. the system reboots a few seconds after the darwin install. ususally its at the onset of the gray screen with silver apple in middle. it visible for less than a second before the sys reboots. any ideas what could be causing this? the pc is core i 920, mobo is GA-EX58-UD5, gtx 260 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197039-pc-boots-shortly-after-darwin-install-screen/ Share on other sites

That has gotten me to the apple logo of most install disks when every DVD i've tried has auto rebooted on me. maybe even add "cpus=1" to it. As for what's causing the problem, i have no idea lol. - Skwirl Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197039-pc-boots-shortly-after-darwin-install-screen/#findComment-1327206 Share on other sites

Bruce Wang
I have installed Leopard on few EX58 boards, all with iAtkos 10.5.7. Boot DVD with "busratio=20" and reboot normally after installation. At first, the Preference in FINDER doesn't work, after update with 10.5.8 COMBO update, it's fixed.
