Tadeu Ferreira
Personal Hello all right? I have some doubts to build my Hackintosh (Notebook and Desktop) And I come to ask help of all. HP DV7 - 1285dx Motherboad: (?/?/ Intel PM45) Processor: (Intel C2D Centrino945 / P8600 / 2.4GHZ /, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3) Memory: (Kingston/DDR-2/6GB (4gb and 2gb) Hard Disk: (SATA/500GB / 5200rpm) DVD Drive (LG /? / DVD-DL) Network card: (Realtek/RTL8168C/Onboard) Video: (nvidia/GF9600M GT/Offboard/512mb) Web CAM (Hp/1.3/Onboard) Keyboard: (Hp /?) Mouse: (Hp /?) Audio: Intel HD-RTD 82801IM I Turn SNOW LEOPARD it for my music production but I need WINDOWS to the things of Labor. And I wondered if you Can with this configuration do this. I'm building a Hackintosh Desktop with this config: Motherboad (Gygabit/GA-EP45-UD3L/Intel P45) Processor: (Intel Quad Core / Q8200 / 2.33GHZ /, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3) Memory: (Kingston/DDR-2/8GB (4x 2gb 800mhz) Hard Disk: (SATA/2x 160GB) DVD Drive (LG/22x/DVD-DL) Network card: (Realtek/RTL8111C/Onboard) Video: (nvidia/GTx260/Offboard/1gb) Web CAM (GoTec / Vimicro / USB) Keyboard: (Hp / MicrosftWireless 1.1/Usb) Mouse: (Hp / MicrosftWirelessOptical / USB) Audio: ALC888C Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX260. What Video Card 1gb of 512bits and if that does not support you recommend? And What is the best procedure for the complete installation of 2 systems? Could this be down? 1 - Insert the CDBoot2.0 (LegacyBootCD.iso) HMBT.org 2 - After you insert the DVD Launch of SnowLeopard_10a432_userdvd.dmg (The Notebook will be both on the same system each partition 250gb HD) (The Desktop System will be the two 160GB hard drives in each) 3 - Insert the CDBoot2.0 after startup Snow and install Chameleon-2.0-RC3-r658-bin.tar or Chameleon-2.0-RC2-r640.pkg (As I leave the HD connected? (Note and desktop)?) 4 - Install Efi_boot_v6.1 and the DSDT efi_boot_v5.1 5 - After creating the EFI install this Kexts Dsmos.kxt 6 - After this Kexts Fakesmc_SL.kext 7 - Install the 10.0.0 Vanilla Kernel 8 - Install OSX86Tools_1.0.150 and make the necessary config for the issue on Hackintosh 9 - Install EasyBCD to Dual Boot 10 - After restarting the Hackintosh insert Win7 Ultimate DVD and install in another partition or another HD Within SnowLeopard also like to run an XP Virtual Machine Pack3 there is a problem with that? It is possible to build this Hackintosh 2 with these settings Hardware and Software this procedure? Sorry for having flodando If all goes well I'll make a post with a simplified step for noobs like me and a video to Youtube. Already thank you for your attention. trabbikevin
All I can say is, that I've got nearly the same laptop: DV7-1196eg with: C2D P8400, 2,26 Ghz ( like new macbook etc) 4 Gigs Ram Geforce 9600M GT 2x 320GB hard drives, serial-ata Intel PM 45 Chipset. Don't actually know why OS X doesn't work, it should work... but Wifi (of course, unsupported) and usb / lan (both work only if you connect the devices / cables before you boot, with usb also only the left one works, not the 2 on the right side!).. It's really uncool =( If you got an answer, please write me a pn ! dr3d
Challenge: HP Pavilion dv7 Intel + Snow Leopard 10.6How to install Snow Leopard on HP Pavilion dv7 Last few days I got SL 10.6.4 up on a stock DV7-1175nr. Everything works except for volume control, webcam, and wireless. USB doesn't work after sleep. I studied the Hackintosh Guide vids on YouTube by sn0le. I used Empire EFI & retail OSX DVD and had good success. I am dual booting W7 and OSX via myHack (2 internal drives, 320GB each, OSX). I'm awaiting a DLINK DWL-G122 USB WiFi and I expect after drivers that'll work. Working the remaining issues later this week... I followed the link in this thread and when the machine reboot I got an error that basically said OSX can boot from this drive. I did boot from MBCD even after the install that doesn't seem to help. Thanks for any assitance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196725-help-boot-snow-leopard-106-e-win7-on-hp-dv7/#findComment-1577977 Share on other sites
emont69
What steps did you follow. I followed the link in this thread and when the machine reboot I got an error that basically said OSX can boot from this drive. I did boot from MBCD even after the install that doesn't seem to help. Thanks for any assitance. I used MyHack 1.1 http://osx86.sojugarden.com/2010/06/myhack...r-1-1-released/ Which allowed me to boot back into the machine successfully when using the -x -s options I added -v just to see what was going on. The network worked out of the box, but that is because I had originally replaced my built in network card with a broadcom model that is compatible with OSX when I was running leopard. Also I have a USB bluetooth adapter which allowed me to connect a bluetooth mouse and keyboard which was good since neither my USB mouse or keyboard worked. Just like my built in keyboard and mouse didn't work. I still have not got USB other than my bluetooth adapter to work. Tried to plug in a USB stick after boot and it doesn't work. Screen is working at ful resolution with no problem. DVD player works as well. Audio doesn't work. Camera doesn't work Wireless network works (with broadcom adapter) So I need to fix Audio, USB, Web cam, built in mouse and keyboard. If you have the kext to get the rest of the hardware working please provide the links.
