I heard that the sound doesnt work. what can i do? is there a patch or have i to use another soundcard. There is a patch to sound that gets 2 channels (stereo) of sound out but no one has figured how to get sound in. You can't upgrade your cpu with Core2. Only the 975 or 865 or 965(coming). Anyway, ASUS sure be the best I think you should choose this one. Now i am using the 3.99G@920 with P5LD2-V. it is very very good mobo. i saw some web site said 805 with P5LD2-V can over drive to 3.6 to 4.0 (not use the org. fan). Maybe the slowest C2D (E4200, 1,60 GHz, 800 Mhz FSB) run on 945. If it doesn´t there are some nice Pentium Ds to update to on 945. redcoke Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 I agree with this, because in the firsrt 965 only can run to 1066 something, but can't to use the full FSB in the Core2, because the Core2 can use the 1333 FSB. But in this time i think is not the time upgrade or buy computer lo. better to wait one more month.. i mean next month around 17 to 20th. @Core2Core2 seems to need at least 965 or 975X chipset.
