JustinAiken
I have two separate osx86 partitions... one started as cloned from the other, so they all have the same kexts and such... only the programs are different. They've both been working fine, but now the partition that has Pro Tools and all my audio software won't boot, not even in safe mode... The other partition boots fine. It gets to the point where it's waiting for dsmos, then dsmos is loaded, and then sometimes it gives me some messages about journal replay devices... and then it sits there indefinitely... I make a nightly backup of my 2 partitions, but the backup does the same thing. Can someone help me get back to making music? Did you recently upgrade to SL? As I recall the MIDI drivers that come with Pro Tools aren't compatible and need to be removed (PACE?). I don't use Pro Tools myself, but migrated (Leo to SL) using a drive that it installed which caused boot issue. JustinAiken
I did a fresh install of SL a few months ago... there hasn't been any changes since then. I deleted the MIDI drivers a long time ago that you're talking about... that fixed alot of problems at the time!
