Macsperience
Hi guys! Ive got the following problem. I used the distro that recently appeared on the bay of the pirates (yes, I own a Snow Leopard license) called "SnowOSX Universal 10.6 v3.5 pc distro". The installation just worked fine, I selected to install everything. But now, as you can see on the video, after boot in verbose mode - what seems to work fine without any problems, with enabled AHCI in the BIOS - I just get no signal anymore. BUT, my computer doesnt crash or anything, theres just no signal from the graphics card... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUAvZYJTfnE Here my hardware: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz Graphics: NVidia GeForce GTX 260 Hard Drive structure: - 1 Internal 500 GB SATA HD with Windows XP - 1 Internal 250 GB IDE HD with SnowOSX So, what do you think can I do? Please guys, heeelp me! Thank you, Macsperience Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194839-black-screen-after-boot-snowosx/ Share on other sites

Tempted
You can delete the kext NVRESMAN and you should be able to continue Or you can add your EFI to the com.apple.boot.plist but I cant seem to get QE/CI Enabled on my GTX275 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194839-black-screen-after-boot-snowosx/#findComment-1316176 Share on other sites

Macsperience
yeah man i did it: - First remove System/Library/Extensions/NVDAResman.kext (in a special folder e.g.) - Then add the EFI string as described in this tutorial - Put the NVDAResman.kext back where it has to be Done!
