  1. QE/CI Snow Leopard GTX275

Well Problem is solved.. Everything that i can tell is working properly Everything is running x64 and im so happy.. currently using VoodooHDA for audio and it seems to be working.. How i got QE?CI working: First off.. when you try to boot for the first time its going to give you black screen so do this first.. After install boot into Single User mode with -s and type mount -uw / mkdir /kext_backup mv /System/Library/Extensions/NV* /kext_backup rm -rf System/Library/Caches/com.appe.kext.caches reboot Next go ahead and boot into the fresh install and run through the setup. After you are booted up you need NVEnabler from http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?...ic=370&st=0 You will need to add your device id to NVDANV50HAL.kext and NVDAResman.kext so copy them from /kext_backup to the desktop. I recommend you use kexthelper to load them back into /System/Library/Extensions/ once you have added your device ids to avoid permission issues. Load up NVEnabler 64.kext if you plan on using x64 kernel NVEnabler.kext if you plan on using 32bit kernel. You should now have full QE/CI with GTX275
  2. Black Screen after Boot (SnowOSX)

You can delete the kext NVRESMAN and you should be able to continue Or you can add your EFI to the com.apple.boot.plist but I cant seem to get QE/CI Enabled on my GTX275
  3. Retail 10.6 for Asrock owners

My P43Twins1600 was cake to install SnowLeopard.. Everything working onboard.. Now to get my GTX275 to have QE/CI in Snow.. >.<
  4. Ive been trying to get it working for the past week now and I got it installed Ended up with black screen.. So i removed NVRESMAN.kext and away I was going again.. I have whatever res i set in co,.apple.Boot.plist and ive tried entering my EFI string to no avail.. It shows up in System Profiler as the nVidia GTX 275 with correct memory and everything but it refuses to load any kext.. >.< sorry if im not making much sense i'm not entirely sure how to word this.. I also tried the ATY_Enabler and the EVGA installer method and that got me to.. System profiler saying i have an Nvidia card with 16mb vram and no kext loaded. I tried inserting my devid into NVResman.kext and it did nothing. If you have or know how to get a GTX275 running in snow with QE/CI Enabled please let me know. It seems as though everything else is running fine except sound... Time Machine is working.. Network... no bios reset.. I had 10.5.8 running very well and decided to get 10.6 running.. Current System Specs= Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 ASRock P43Twins1600 2x2048 OCZ Reaper PC6400 HPC nVidia GTX 275 Patched 2.20 bios with the dsdt fixes
  5. iDeneb 10.5.5 Asrock p43 Twins 1600

Also for those of you using windows Vista as second boot on this drive.. you can load the AHCI driver after installing non-ahci so you dont have to keep changing it in bios.. Do the following You have to boot into IDE mode first. 1. Exit all Windows-based programs. 2. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. 3. If you receive the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue. 4. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci 5. In the right pane, right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify. 6. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK. 7. On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor Reboot your comp, Set board to AHCI and away you go!
  6. Im looking for a way to control my 9800 GTX fan speed in OSX.. I can do it in windows via the eVGA precision app.. but as far as im aware of there arent any for mac.. Am I correct here? If not can someone please point me in the right direction?
  7. G15 and Leopard 10.5.2

  9. [BOOT-132] Legacy AppleHDA

So Im trying to get this working with my ALC888 on ICH10R board.. In system profiler under audio I get Intel High Definition Audio: Device ID: 0x18490888 Audio ID: 888 Available Devices: Line Out: Connection: 1/8 inch Jack Headphone: Connection: 1/8 inch Jack Line In: Connection: 1/8 inch Jack Speaker: Connection: Internal S/P-DIF Out: Connection: Optical S/P-DIF In: Connection: Optical but under my Sound tab.. I have nothing.. no output no input no sound period.. I've been workin at this for a few days now with little success.. Any ideas?
  10. Try booting from a USB dvd drive.. That was my problem on my old MSI board.. wasnt amd.. but got same issue..Also.. what chipset is on your board? I used iDeneb 10.5.5

Also what options did you set during installation? ie. Nvinject, Modded Kernel.. etc.. I ask because i set it to stock and im still not getting it to boot up.. I am putting it on the ide drive. I'll try my sata later. Thanks
  13. iDeneb 10.5.5 Asrock p43 Twins 1600

I'll try bumpin my clock back down to stock.. thanks for the idea I'll let ya know how it goes.. Oh.. btw. are you booting with any flag redboy? Will i need to boot with cpus=1?
  14. Does it work with ICH10R? It seems to install on my IDE hdd but when i try to boot to it i get to the Apple boot screen with the black spinning disc if i put cpus=1 but it stops just after loading seatbelt on boot. I'll update with a pic. Current system Intel Q6600 Quad running at 3.0ghz 6gb OCZ ram (4gb 2x2048 kit and 2gb 2x1024 kit) GeForce 9800 GTX+ Asrock P43Twin1600 2x 300gb Segate sata 1x 150gb WD Sata 1x 80gb WD IDE (where im trying to install) LiteOn External DVD drive ICH10R NB (ALC888) Any suggestions on why it would stop at that particular place would be greatly appreciated. Had this successfully installed on MSI P4M900M3 With core2duo E4600 and the 2gb ram kit.
  15. Via SATA Support

Is there an alternative kext that would work for me? If so would someone please point me in that direction.
