bossent20
Hi all I had trouble getting into Snow Leopard using DD's mobo patch installer via Leopard 10.5 Basically.. SL was working but I could not see the screen. No signal due to no drivers for the GTX 275 I then remembered I had the gtx 275 working from the iatkos v7 dvd I used to install 10.5 I then used that from the DVD to add to my SL installation and I was able to see my setup for Snow Leopard - only the resolution was set to a fixed low resolution - unchangeable I then came accross EFI Studio when searching on google and have loaded it up in 10.5 to see what it is (sorry I am new to this ) I saw my gtx 275 card at the bottom of the list and this is where I am stuck I am unfamiliar with what to do next. It says add device so I click that, and a new window pops up saying save, and some other things incuding write to p.list I do not wanna do anything wrong here. Can someone please give me a step by step approach on what I need and what I need to do for using EFI Studio for my card. do i need any other drivers? what do i select? i also need to install ethernet for my gigabyte ud5 ex58 if there is anything for this too many thanks for all the time and help PS - i also seen some video demonstration but without any audio explanations. in the video it shows a user adding the devices to plist which I am so far understanding but then they go to boot plist editor and add a timeout of 3. i am unaware of what this is do i need this also what is it for thanks again Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194804-efi-studio-is-this-what-i-need/ Share on other sites
