Hello there... I've setup a new computer and also installed OSX X86 10.4.6. It's running fine. Also my 3com network card and onboard soundcard are working. But the graphic card isn't. So i tryied some Ati Rage 128 (Very Basic) And also an GeForce MX2-400. So i downloaded Macvidia, and wooohooo and can change my resolution.

But there is one problem left. i can't play DVD's and movies. DVD Player crached and VLC also when i want to start a movie.

Whit the ATI Rage 128 DVD-player opens but there goes something wrong whit the screen (maybe it's because he sees 64 mb instead of 16).

What could it be?

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

Also my Open-GL is not working.

I've run CineBench 9.5 and the CPU Benchmark is good but the Graphics benchmark sux:

CINEBENCH 9.5

****************************************************

Rendering (Single CPU): 252 CB-CPU

Rendering (Multiple CPU): 309 CB-CPU

Multiprocessor Speedup: 1.23

Shading (CINEMA 4D) : 299 CB-GFX

Shading (OpenGL Software Lighting) : 203 CB-GFX

Shading (OpenGL Hardware Lighting) : 132 CB-GFX

OpenGL Speedup: 0.68

****************************************************

But on a real Mac i can watch DVD. Even on a ATI Mach64 whit 2 MB VRAM.

What card/software/driver supports it? I just want a machine to work (Photoshop/FCE/DVDSP) and to listen to music (works) and watch DVD/Mpeg/Avi films.

Now i have a Quicksilver whit a G4-533, Digital Audio whit a dual G4-1.0 and an iBook G4 1.2.

It's no problem when i have to buy a new card!
