i installed the iAtkos R3 version..... everything goes fine....i had no kernel panic........ whats working "out of box": - Sound - Nvida 8800gts 640mb g80 - IDE whats not working: - usb is not working correct.....usb stick is only recognized when i put the stick in before booting - oboard LAN dont know whats the problem with USB because in 10.4.9 it worked.... also the RTL network card gets these inet connection drops.... now i will try a 10.5.2 update.....which update method / version exactly to choose ????

hello 2 all.... i have installed the TOH RC2 release on my pc (look signatur)....then i did a update to 10.5.1 and the i add golden patch to enable 2 cores.... my problems are: - onboard LAN with nForceEthernetController.kext crashes, when 2 cores where enabled -> so no go! - only Azalia OUT works on onboard sound -> with HDA i get kernelpanic - RTL8931....dont know if its correct letters...but this LAN adapter lost the connection after a while -> only kextunload/kextload bring the inet connection back! - USB didnt work correct, because it didnt mount my usb stick.....only when i stick it in before booting leo??? - sometimes i get freezes but i dont know why??? so this are the problems i have on TOH R2... i want to test the iAtkos release image.....but where can i find this R3....i searched on torrent sites and only found R2....how do you get this R3 version? can someone please explain me the new things that i have to mention before an while im installing iAkos R3... i want to do it like the tutorial in the 1# post....so i think thats the right way right? or should i stay with my TOH RC2? i mean, when i will have exact the same probs with iAkos R3 then i dont want to reinstall Leopard! thanks for helping cacak333

i installed the 10.5 TOH RC2 image and then made the update + golden path like in the first post (tutorial) do i now have the nforce kernel? or do i have to install it? where can i see if i already have installed the nforce kernel? thx...

hello... i have exact the same internet conection drops....after a while i cant do anything! only the kextunload , kexload methode makes it work..... in tiger 10.4.9 all worked perfect without doing anything.....now with 10.5.1 leo i get these drops???? i tried the "creating second adapter" methode but it doesnt work i have a PCI ethernet card RT8139.....does anyone knows a fix??? or something i can do?

hello.... great tutorial.....thank you....i have now a working STIKER EXTREME , 10.5.1, 2cores enabled, QE/CI enabled, SATA! only onboard LAN and Audio (IN) is not working..... USB is working but not if i stick in a usb -stcik...it doesnt mount it...it only shows it in systemprofiler! is there a USB fix for that? if i stick it in before bootin...all is ok and the usb-stick is mounted! and sometimes i freezer....after working a bit with osx.....how can i see what exactly causes the freezer??? is there a log for that? i dont mean the freezzer from the onboard LAN (nForceEthernetController.kext) maybe some can help.....for USB fix and Freezer???? byee i have exactly the same problem.....want to use LAN with all cores hope also for a fix really soon

hellooo.... i did the tuorial....and now i have leopard 10.5.1 on my striker extreme (680i) running... its ok...at all no full supported audio and no onboard LAN..... sometimes i get freezer.....so is there a way to see in a log what exactly cause the freeze?? i dont know what it is? and i can only use a usb stick if its sticked in before booting osx???? some knows these problems....

it works with cpus=1 but i want to use my 2 cpus... maybe some fix will come out soon ???? would be sooo nice....

hello... is something going on for a new release of nforceEthernetController.kext ???? i have the striker extreme mobo with that marvel ethernet controller.... the .kext si working for me....but not stable.....i get kernel pani when im using safari and want to do some download! and sometimes i have inet and sometimes not....thats very sad....! HOPE THERE WILL BE SOON A FIX.....but otherwise THANK YOU FOR SPENDING TIME ON THIS ETHERNET CONTROLLER

@remotestation nice to hear that the AD1988B works for you but not for me and my striker extreme 680i maybe your working audio is a good help for the programmer??? @Taruga maybe that can be helpfull for u? i dont understand why audio with AD1988B works on some mobo´s and on some mobo´s not?
