Well hello there, I have been at this for around 4 days now and I just can't get into OSX, I boot up fine and then when I get past grey apple screen, it flickers and then fades into a blue screen!? It's really annoying me now, I have burnt around 4 diff. distros and I have learned myself, all the drivers etc. I need now, I have as follows!:

 

P4 Prescott @ 3.06Ghz

 

ATI Radeon HD 3400 (512mb)

 

2.5 GB RAM

 

320GB HDD (SATA)

 

IDE DVD drive

 

Intel a915P Chipset...

Try these steps to clear out all video kexts and atleast let you get in with the crappiest resolution.

 

1. Boot with -s, and do the following commands:

CODE IS BELOW:

 

/sbin/mount -uw /

cd /system/library/extensions

rm -r ATI*

rm -r natit.kext*

reboot

2. Reboot with -f

 

Let me know if that works.
