donkey
Does anyone know how to get rid of the 100s of errors I get from Office2008 at boot-up.Examples are below. Please - none of the obvious solutions, like get rid of the MS POS!!! Delete log files You can update from 12.0.0 to 12.0.1 > .0.2, after that I deleted the log files... While updating, the logs should have less and less errors... at least that's what I noticed. imacken
Thanks guys. I'm on 12.2.1 and don't have the UUID error. Why would clearing the logs make any difference? I uninstalled Office and reinstalled updating as I went along, and at each stage there were the same log errors as in post #1 above. I removed all the Office .pkg files from Library/Receipts and all the errors went away. Is this safe? What are these files for? They look like the individual package installers. Why are they still there after the event?
