Please - none of the obvious solutions, like get rid of the MS POS!!! Delete log files You can update from 12.0.0 to 12.0.1 > .0.2, after that I deleted the log files... imacken Posted October 22, 2009 Author Share Posted October 22, 2009 Thanks guys. I'm on 12.2.1 and don't have the UUID error. Why would clearing the logs make any difference? I uninstalled Office and reinstalled updating as I went along, and at each stage there were the same log errors as in post #1 above. I removed all the Office .pkg files from Library/Receipts and all the errors went away. Is this safe? What are these files for? They look like the individual package installers.
