kiu777
Compared to its predecessor mini ITX board with Atom 270 this new board seems to be changed a bit. I even was not able to install Leopard on it (but had success with other P35 boards from Asus). Trying to install SL via booting from a USB memory stick with Cameleon 2RC3 and SL on it I just was able to install SL on the hard disk - but only when I connected this disk via an USB/SATA converter. Connected to a SATA port the disk can not be seen from hard disk utility etc. Maybe this behavior depends on the SATA mode. The DVD-ROM is connected via standard IDE. In BIOS hyperthreading ist disabled. I tried to switch the SATA mode from legacy to enhanced but both options did not work. Booting from USB stick mit Chameleon work but I was not able to pause the booting process an let booting go on after selecting the disk (which is seen here from Chameleon when BIOS option legacy is selected). Here the boting process hangs indefinitely. Any ideas (or advice)? kiu777
This thread seems to be an experimenting platform. I found it before. The discussed solutions are a bit to complicated for me. Maybe I'm not such a crack like you but this should not trigger you to get angry, shouldn't it?
