i got a Keyspan "RF Remote for Front Row" over at Amazon and i got it working with Kyrie's "Native Front Row" tutorial. HOWEVER, my remote won't call up Front Row from the desktop and i don't usb my usb mouse at all (it just sits behind my computer).

My question is are there any extensions or modifications to "FrontRowPass.kext" that I can do to get my remote to call up Front Row without using my USB Mouse?

Edit:

Here's a "clue" i suppose. I read it had to do with BezelServices.framework? Anyone got any ideas?

no no, do not use enbalers, stick with Kyre native solution is the best. can you call frontrow with command esc? i use that AND my t610 sony phone to cal and control Frontrow.

Everything works ok once front row's up, except i can't call up front row via remote at the desktop. Gotta go over to my keyboard and do it. How'd you get it working on your phone to call up front row?

Depends on your phone. You are lucky with SonyEricsson, works with Java Client. Motorola really suxx big time

due to it's lack of the HDI Bluetooth protocol.

For most of other Cellphones like Nokia etc you can remote Frontrow with your Phone by installing Salling

Clicker and an extra script for frontrow.

If none of these options work for you, you can also config OSX to start it with a mouse button. To do this, just

install iKey and config it that way that it will translate a pressed mousebutton you set up to virtually press

"apple+esc".

:censored2: can you believe that my remote wasn't working because i switched Command (Cmd) and Option in the keyboard system preferences' pane?! that was the whole reason it didn't work! Guess that's what i get for not buying a mac keyboard :D

Yaay, everything works on the remote now! Here's a picture of the remote and it's avail at Amazon. I got mine for $15.00 on sale :D
