edmondwck Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Nvidia confirmed that there will be no DMI chipset for intel. That means Apple will switch back to intel IGP for Arrandale. I think this is good because Intel chipset is cheaper and more compatible with Hackintosh. Although Nvidia IGP is more powerful, the new Intel IGP is not too bad. It kind of sucks, because Nvidia has made some pretty great igp chips like the 9400, as well as they can do openCL on an IGP chip, where as Intel chips can't unless they write them too.
