Arthur Pwnzerelli
I am looking for a pc that is easy to install hackintosh on and runs perfectly. I recently spent weeks trying to install it on this old cheap no name computer to no avail so this time i wanna do it right. Also a fairly cheap comp or laptop would be preferable. For Leopard, Dell Mini 9 is pretty much the best. But it is not a desktop, or even a laptop. I haven't found one, still running 10.5.6 on mine. Arthur Pwnzerelli
why is the mini 9 so good for this? Also can a pc running osx with the same specs as a mac perform the same? Additionally I want to use the computer to run music software such as logic and pro tools can a mini 9 handle this stuff? chevy2410
I've been running OSX on my comp, see my profile, and it's rock solid. I built it this past June and I'm looking to sell it. It's been a very good system. I've run photoshop and pro tools at one point and both perform well. PM me if interested. I can send pics. Ichixgo
vanilla means a non modified system ; ) with leopard a lot of modified kernels appeared and now with snow leo people are trying to use "raw"/vanilla/original kernels in order to have as many complications as possible ; ) like on a "normal" mac ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/190378-best-pc-for-the-hackintosh-conversion/#findComment-1289600 Share on other sites
