johngo
Has someone already tried Final Cut 5.1 and Motion 2.1 on a non-SSE3 CPU? I'm going to buy the Final Cut Studio package, and it would be nice to get some feedback before i waste several hundred euros for software not working on my machine THX! Athlon 64 3000+ (Winchester, SSE/SSE2) nForce4 Chipset ATI Radeon X1600 (with QE and Core Image) OSX 10.4.6 (JaS DVD, radeon driver from 10.4.5) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18975-final-cut-pro-motion/ Share on other sites

Krazubu
A lot of people gave feedback about this if you had searched a little you would have found. I personnally ran both of them and they work perfectly. pontiac
I´m on a sse2 processor and although FinalCut Works 100% ok, it´s not as fast as compared to other machines (there´s a thread with a test you can test against..) So not sure about the sse3 not being used... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18975-final-cut-pro-motion/#findComment-125457 Share on other sites
