belgrano
My friend, if you want any help, you should provide a lot more info other than "it doesn't work..." Start with your modem type, what version of OS X are you running... anything that might be important... gwprod12
I think he assumed you were using wireless because you said the cable modem is connected to a wireless router... Are you connected via Ethernet Cable to your Router, and is your Router connected to your Cable Modem, and is your cable modem connected to the wall at both the cable outlet and the power outlet? Is your cable modem on? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18954-how-do-i-get-the-internet-to-work/#findComment-124506 Share on other sites

gwprod12
Have you read the HCL to see if your network card is compatible with whichever version of OSX you're running? It seems like it is... go into Preferences and look in Network, if Built-In Ethernet is there, then your driver works (most likely), and you need to check your IP settings.
