I just installed 10.4.6 on to a USB H.D (IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!, this is the only way I could install it) And I am now sitting at my shinly Mac,which is an HP DV5020us laptop, but I have a few problems I need some help with. First off, I have no sound and it has Conexant AC-Link Audio (This is my biggest problem) and I cannot change my resolution (Radeon Xpress 300M) Any suggestions? Thanks!

Im still working on the sound problem as well, Conexant AC97 compatible, but for the resolution problem go get omni's driver, that worked for me (200M or x200 depending on who you talk to) that got my resolution up to 1440x900 with no qe or ci. looks beautiful, if i could get the sound working it would be a perfect running machine with 10.4.6.

just follow the directions and it should get you up and running, i should tell you that the 007 version didnt work for me but i used the 003 fixed version and it worked perfectly. hopefully in future releases he will fix the display sleep mode, for some reason with the 003 driver if i close my laptop lid, the display will shut off and go to sleep and wont come back on....have to cold boot it. but its a small price to pay to get the native resolution for my laptop ;-)

Ok.. I am a n00b when it comes to MAc's and Terminal... I am trying to install callisto using the 003 fixed build, and I try to follow the instructions, but at one point, it says in the instructions: Enter Password when prompted for three total steps, and the only step that asks me for it is step 1, and when I enter it, it says no such file or dir.... hes thee output...

What the heck am I doing wrong???

WOOT!!1 I got Callisto Working! I can change my refresh rate.. Which brings up 2 questionss. On the callisto website, it says to enable Quartz Extreme, and Core Image, You need to modify the package for you radeon card... Butttt, My video card isnt listed, so which package should I modify? Card is a 200M btw.. ANd my final step to making this great would be to get sound working...
