monkwan
I have a dual boot on lenovo x41t. so I have a NFS+ which hosts the 10.4.4. I log in and can see two drives, one is NFS+, one is the NTFS which hosts my XP. I can transfer files from the XP drive to Mac drive. But when I try to back up files from Mac to NTFS. It says " you can't modify the drive" somthing like that. Can I access(write) to the NTFS from the NFS+? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18907-how-to-write-to-ntfs-drive/ Share on other sites

ampTK
OSX do have a very basic, limited and unreliable NTFS write support. I believe you have to eneable it somewhere and you can use it only in comand line Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18907-how-to-write-to-ntfs-drive/#findComment-123939 Share on other sites

Thanks jrsdead http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...indpost&p=16170 Your other options are to go with FAT32 or HFS+. Adding MacDrive to Windows allows it to read/write HFS+ (ie Mac). i1sam
if i want to white a file from hfs partition to a ntfs partition, i just do it via network and IT CAN BE DONE!!!( it just need a minimum of 2 pc connected though... good luck) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18907-how-to-write-to-ntfs-drive/#findComment-123968 Share on other sites
