applehacker
Hi guys. I got snowosx 3.5 and burned it, however when i start it on my MSI Gx720, i get the dreaded "use only one style" and "Apple Decrypt Starting...." messages. Thats it. The dvd drive then cuts off. Leopard worked fin (ipc 10.5.6). I do have a retail iso, but no way of putting it on media. Is it possible to install leopard, then upgrade to snow leopard via iso mounting in leopard? or is there a way to bypass those two messages i mentioned by use of a boot flag? Thanks in advance! Rikoshet
1. Make a Restor via DiskUtility of your Leopard on external USB/eSATA hd on partition 1 and the same thing of an DVD SNowLeo Retail on 2nd partition! 2. Boot from external hd partition 1 (leopard) and make an install on your notebook HD from partition 2 like deskribed on many topiks. Install the last Chameleon, DSTD.aml, some kexts in Extra folder! Thats all! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/188328-need-some-help/#findComment-1304957 Share on other sites
