Hi pet1,

 

You will need to patch your DSDT file, specifically the RTC section to take care of the BIOS corruption problem. I had the same issue and thought my motherboard was the source of it, but it affects everyone due to a bug in Snow Leopard.

Thanx again.. got it taken care of. I edited my .dsl file and took care of all the entries.. I'm not using a dsdt.aml either.. after editing the .dsl. I applied them directly to the bios. Everything is working great. I also noticed an increase in xbench score. After I manually edited the rtc section is when I noticed the increase. It seems as though checking off the rtc fix in the dsdt patcher doesn't do anything at all.

i have this same problem and was wondering in noob type english what steps did you take to do this? =) i've gotten this far so i'm happy but the bios resetting thing is very frustrating.
