oli8925
Hi, I've just got my Macbook Pro today, my first Mac, and I absolutely love it. However at my home we don't have a wireless router, so I just plug the modem in to the computer for broadband. I have a SpeedTouch 330 DSL Modem but it only has driver on the cd for up to OS X 10.4, and I can't find any for OS X 10.6. Please can anyone shed some light on this? Does anyone know of a driver that will work? Many thanks, Oli Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/187413-os-x-106-speedtouch-330-modem-driver/ Share on other sites

errandwolfe
Apparently this is a {censored} modem with little/no support for Mac or Linux.... From Wikipedia..."The Speedtouch 330 also does not currently work with the latest generation of Macintosh computers running an Intel processor, as appropriate drivers have not yet been developed (and are unlikely to be developed)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpeedTouch_330 I would recommend getting yourself a new modem, sounds like one with a built in router would be your best option. If not find one you can put into bridge mode and that way you can do PPPoE from your Mac with no drivers.
