Took a while, but I got it working. Without a Leopard computer. I used this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=180954

Use Dr. Hurt's Chameleon 2 RC3 package to install Chameleon.

I used fassl's DSDT patcher and then used this post to modify it for sound. I also used the audio/LAN DSDT guide included in blackosx's support files. Use iASLme to decompile/compile the DSDT.

Unfortunately, the audio drivers I used had to be installed in S/L/E, along with my VoodooPS2 drivers for my keyboard.

Hopefully everyone else has equal success with this board. :(

smeltn: I used an unmodified, retail Snow Leopard DVD. AFAIK there aren't any SL distros.

greythrone: I think I summed it up well in my first post. Use blackosx's EP45-DS3L guide to install, but use Chameleon 2 RC3 instead of RC2. Then follow the second link for info on how to mod your DSDT.aml for ALC888 sound support. :)
