Motherboard Name ASRock ALiveNF7G-FullHD

CPU Name AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard Chipsatz nForce7050-630a

Graficcard Sapphire ATI 4850 512 MB

Ram 8 GB

AHCI is on.

Setting the bootflag -v shows, that the system hang after this line

Appelviaatadriver: via 8237 Sata ( CMD 0x1f0 CTR 0x3f4 IRQ 14 BM 0xffa0 )

Somebody an idea how to solve the problem?

Hi not sure but you may need to try and change the nvidia driver(kext), which may mean a reinstall. done mine 3 times so far still cant get the audio right!,

Hi, my problem is, that i can not install the Mac OS. When i boot from the DVD the system stops as describe above.

How is your Pc set up for the install.

I am interested as i have a asrock mobo with a dual core amd processor which i want install OSx onto.

Have you made a partition onto which you will install OSX.

Have you read any tutorials.

I have build in an separate HDD on MasterIDE Port to install the Mac OS on. I have change the Sata Bios Option to AHCI (If you have installed Windows already without AHCI you must apply AHCI in the registry first, and change the Biosoption after that step!!!)

I have read many tutorials, but no one describe the problem or the mb i use actually. I have tried with 3 different leopard versions, but no one start with the installtion.

Ok, the first thing you have to disconnect the internal multicard reader...

So the Installationprozess will not stop at the Viaatadriver.

Will see what happend next :-)

Edit:

Fortunatly the installationprozess finished without any errors. Finally i used the IDeneb Image to install the Mac OS.

At this moment the system is coming up only with the bootflag -x. I guess there are some problems to solve.

When i finished that to an good running Mac OS i will give feedback and a little how to for that kind of MB.
