[Mini Guida] Sbloccare la scrittura in NTFS da SL

Fate un BackUp del file modificato, per sicurezza non si sa mai :)

 

- Da Disk Utility prendere la UUID della partizione NTFS che si vuole abilitare (Per fare cio' aprite Utility Disco selezionate la partizione NTFS e cliccate su Informazioni e copiate l'Identificatore Universale)

- aprite il terminale

- scrivete

sudo nano /etc/fstab

- Al interno scrivete

UUID=incolla_il_uuid_qui none ntfs rw

- Ripetete per ogni partizione NTFS che si vuole abilitare

- Salvate (CTRL + O) con il nome "fstab" confermate con enter, poi chiudete (CTRL + X), riavviate il sistema (sudo reboot).

 

Dovrebbe funzionare a 32 e 64 bit e anche abbastanza benne.

 

Scrivete la vostra esperienza ;)

Metodi alternativi

1. Da un forum esterno...

Rename the original /sbin/mount_ntfs tool:

 

sudo mv /sbin/mount_ntfs /sbin/mount_ntfs.orig

 

Create a script like this:

 

#!/bin/sh

/sbin/mount_ntfs.orig -o rw "$@“

 

save the script to /sbin/mount_ntfs

 

sudo chown root:wheel /sbin/mount_ntfs

sudo chmod 755 /sbin/mount_ntfs

 

Enjoy R/W access to NTFS volumes...

 

In case you don't like it

 

sudo mv /sbin/mount_ntfs.orig /sbin/mount_ntfs

 

and everything is back to R/O.

P.S. anch'io cambio mobo...passo a p5q deluxe......sara l'ultimo upgrade prima dell'inevitabile cambio di socket! Il Q9550 non vuole rimanere a soli 3,4GHz :)

Se ne parla anche sul forum internazionale, cmq questo è si il metodo migliore per scrivere su NTFS ma non è certo infallibile! In alcune situazioni sembra fare casotto! :\

Andrebbe attivato sulle partizioni dove risiedono i dati , mentre la partizione di windows io la lascerei stare :blush:

mi ricorda molto la procedura per l'automount dei dischi in linux

 

E' la procedura pe l'automunt dei dischi in Unix.

 

Sia Linux che Snow leopard sono dialetti Unix.

io ho avuto qualche problema con questo metodo... nel senso che certe volte alcuni file o cartelle nelle partizioni ntfs Snow non me le vedeva come tali... e quindi illegibili... ho risolto installando la versione di macfuse beta scovata su qualche forum e compilata per snow leo in abbinamento all'ntfs-3g 4.4. mi dispiace solo che con macfuse ho perso la possibilità di far passare i file prima nel cestino... :(

Procedura eseguita con successo su due HDD esterni USB:

- Western Digital 500GB 3,5";

- Seagate (o Maxtor, non so, e' dentro un Box della Iomega) 1TB 3,5";

Funzionanti a 32bit, non so ancora a 64bit ma non vedo controindicazioni secondo quanto detto anche dagli altri.

 

Ho invece un problema con un terzo HDD sempre esterno USB, stavolta e' un Samsung da 2,5" 160GB: DiskUtility non mi mostra infatti il suo UUID.

Il disco era vuoto e formattato da prima in FAT (inizializzato da Mac), poi ho provato a formattarlo in NTFS da Win ma ancora nulla.

L'UUID appare solo se lo inizializzo come MacOS Esteso (Journaled) ovviamente da Mac...ma non posso usare quell'UUID dato che ad ogni formattazione/inizializzazione cambia.

Ho provato anche a ripartizionarlo, sempre da Mac: prima aveva la tabella partizioni (sempre e comunque una sola partizione) in GUID, poi ho provato a partizionarlo in MBR ma non e' cambiato nulla.

Stessa cosa mi succede con una pennetta USB della Sony da 4GB, come mai? Qualche consiglio?

anche io ho avuto uno stesso problema con un HD esterno da 2,5" della packard bell... non riuscivo trovare l'uuid....mah....icon9.gif

disco esterno con dati invece non ne vuole sapere

EDIT: mi sà che è perchè ad ogni riavvio mi cambia l identificatore universale

Su internet ho trovato un sito dove spiega come far attivare sempre in lettura/scrittura le partizioni ntfs è molto semplice e non bisogna ogni volta aggiungere l'uuid.

 

E' una soluzione nativa di SL non bisogna installare nulla

vorrei segnalare che la scrittura su un disco NTFS condiviso in rete (server windows), avviene senza il minimo bisogno di installare nulla!

 

magari era scontato.....ma lo segnalo;)

L'ho provato proprio adesso il risultato 2 riavvii forzati e ho dovuto riparate il index del disco per potere leggere i dati... ;)

    • I think I found a way to use an nvidia helper card... On the internet they say if you cut the end of the PCI-e x1 slot, an x16 PCI-e video card will work in it. I have an 8600gt which works OOB in high sierra, but I'm not sure if I can set it as primary since in bios I have only PEG/PCI or PCI/PEG primary video. Maybe I can set it as primary from DSDT or clover?
    • My guide was good for ElCapitan where Nvidia 5200M works fine. But now I decided to install HighSierra and I found that Nvidia family Fermi will not work in the OS anyway. So I switched Optimus ON in my BIOS so I have Intel HD4000 as main graphics and switched off Nvidia by ACPI methods. Here it is.   ACPI_for HSierra.zip
