Lionheart
I can't install OSX 10.4 either. I have created a partition (FAT32) in Acronis Disk Manager. It's on the same disk as my operating system, but on a seperate partition. I restart the machine and load MACOSX DVD but after that it can't find my disks. In the MAC disk tool it only finds my ATA DVD-reader. Nothing else. I have tried with both SATA and SCSI disk. Lionheart
Have someone got any clue what I should do? Tried to re-partition the SATA disk and placed it both before and after the windows partition. It doesn't seem to find my SATA disk at all. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18651-osx86-on-nforce4-and-sata/#findComment-122976 Share on other sites
Lionheart
I couldn't get the SATA disk to work with MACOS so I installed an ATA drive and didn't even have to partition it. It just popped right up in the MAC installer. Now everything works great, except resolution and a power save of the ata disk that eventually crashed MACOS. Maybe a setting somewhere? Cause this don't happen in Windows XP. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18651-osx86-on-nforce4-and-sata/#findComment-123569 Share on other sites

jape
Search for SATA around here. Specially this: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...=17330&st=0 It is NOT stable enough to work with, however.
