Hi,

I suspect your PCI bridge is not being recognised. Do you have any other PCI cards installed? If so, are they recognised? If you haven't got any cards installed, try something like a LAN card if you've got one lying about. Then check if it shows up in the "About This Mac" -> "More Info" screen.

I have the same problem with my Asus P5VDC-MX motherboard. No PCI cards are recognised, unfortunately. I plan to get around this problem by changing to a new motherboard soon.

Hello Dr.Funk,

Where do you have found unibin driver for M-audio Delta 1010LT ?

I'm interessed because this card is based on the envy24 chipset who is the same as my

Staudio dsp24+ ADDA2000 .... so when i look at the M-audio web, I see intel drivers

for OSX only for Firewire and USB series .... (http://www.m-audio.com/)

The lastest drivers for delta serie is v2.05 (12/09/2005) and it is only PPC, so it will not work....

If you think about, there is no actualy commercial x86 apple machine sold with pci /xpci so why would

M-audio release an unibin driver for the delta serie ?

Otherwhise they are testing non official G5 with quad intel proc... and pci slots ????

And in this case, they will no give this beta driver for download on the web !

But if you'got a scoop, it would be cool that you give it us !!!!!

[EDIT]

Just found on M-audio web :

M-Audio Releases Universal Drivers to Support Apple's Intel-based Macs

All current non-PCI M-Audio interfaces and controllers are now compatible with Apple’s new machines

M-Audio is pleased to extend support to Apple’s new Intel-based Mac computers by posting official Universal drivers for a host of USB- and FireWire-compatible peripherals including ProjectMix I/O, FireWire 410, Ozonic, Fast Track Pro, JamLab and many more. When combined with M-Audio’s collection of class-compliant devices, this driver release brings Intel-based Mac compatibility to all current non-PCI M-Audio interfaces and controllers.

Hmmmmm, I went to dl unibin drivers and it didnt tell me that the pci stuff is not supported.

So, does any usb or firewire audio device work? on what mobo and version of osx, a simple yes or no wont do, as I need more info. the wiki, is okay, but not all that great in some places.
