derpuma
Hey there, gave the new beta a try, but it wont work on my 32bit Snow boot. As I am on a P35-DS3 i cannot boot up in 64bit without KP. Can someone confirm that the LittleSnitch 2.2 beta1 is only for 64bit Kernel? That would help me a lot not wasting more time in finding the prob! 2.1.4 is running pretty stable under Snow 32bit! Solution: LittleSnitch.kext was copied in S/L/E while installing. Making a new Extensions.mkext in Singel User Mode solved my Problem. Now I can run 2.2 beta1! mout -uw / sudo chown -R 0:0 /Volumes/SnowLeopard/System/Library/Extensions sudo kextcache -l -v -t -m /Volumes/SnowLeopard/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext /Volumes/SnowLeopard/System/Library/Extensions/ SnowLeopard -> should be named as your SnowLeo Volume! By the way: Kext Utility should do the same job! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/182995-littlesnitch-22-beta1-for-106-question/ Share on other sites

tormentor
Hey there, gave the new beta a try, but it wont work on my 32bit Snow boot. As I am on a P35-DS3 i cannot boot up in 64bit without KP. I have the same mobo and I boot without KP, follow this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=180954 Chameleon .431 (not the last one), add a dsmos.kext for SL, patch the dsdt.aml, add the voodoohda for SL and it's done... (running for 2 days without KP) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/182995-littlesnitch-22-beta1-for-106-question/#findComment-1251124 Share on other sites
schnogg
I had a pretty good install going except for sound until I installed Little Snitch beta2. Now It just is stuck in a reboot loop where it boots, reloads all extensions like the cache has been flushed, then reboots again. I removed /System/Library/Extensions/LittleSnitch.kext, but the issue persists. Is that all there is to removing little snitch? My setup: IP35 (Yukon2 Ethernet, ALC888 Audio) E8400 Geforce 7300GT 256MB Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/182995-littlesnitch-22-beta1-for-106-question/#findComment-1267112 Share on other sites
