I had to update to pcefi 10.3 and chameleon rc3 with this installer found here on forums http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=184766 Just right clicked, show package contents/resources/boot/ and replace original boot file with the one from netkas found here http://netkas.org/?p=224 Run the installer, reboot, now u should see pcefi 10.3 logo instead of old chameleon one. I followed your guide, upgrade to RC3 + PC EFI 10.3 but my FCP quits on "log and transfer" (running Snow 10.6.1). The only difference is that on reboot I do not have the PC EFI logo instead of the chameleon one.....though I have confirmed that I have RC3+EFI 10.3 running on my system Any clue?. The only difference is that on reboot I do not have the PC EFI logo instead of the chameleon one.....though I have confirmed that I have RC3+EFI 10.3 running on my system Any clue?. yes, i have macwannabee's smbios.kext in both system/library/extensions and extra/extensions , i also have extensions.mkext done with kext tool in both library, and extra extensions i also have "new" fakesmc from netkas i dont know if this helps, if not we could try another thing, but strange is that the logo didn't change cos i was sure that i had pcefi 10.3 but only when the logo changet i've got it working but that may be only my feeling i can send you installer i edited for this also if nothing helps.
