jimmyvau
I have the exact same problem. I have been able to get on board audio to work under x_64 using VooDooHDA, but I can't see to find an x_64 version of the RTL8139 or of my onboard lan drivers. GoodWorld
i have the same problem!! any solution??? [ OSX86 : ( http://cid-8b65993ef55cf014.skydrive.live..../Snow%20Leopard ) (Drivers > Lan & Wireless) ] Hi. Replace the AppleRTL8139Ethernet.kext from the Original IONetworkingFamily.kext with the AppleRTL8139Ethernet.kext from the OSX86 site. Location : /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleRTL8139Ethernet.kext And then Put your modified IONetworkingFamily.kext into /S/L/E. Run "Kext Utility". Reboot. I am using a 10a432-64bit mode. ( ASUS P5K[iCH9] + Chameleon2 RC3 r658 ) RTL8139Family_64bit_10a432.zip
ApexDE
Be aware that i had to switch my 8139 for a 8169 cause of Sleep issues with the 8139. Sometimes the system did hang when going to sleep (fans on, screen off). It was hard to track this problem down to the NIC! Just to let you know

cyberheater
Okay. I figured it out. Thanks for the information. It was pretty clear once I'd figured out what you were referring to.
numb3rs
Both of my RTL8139D cards are running terribly slow in 10.6.3. I'm getting speeds of 0.58mbps and I haven't been able to fix the problem with kexts. I've searched all over this forum but nothing has solved my problem yet. I have an Abit IP-35pro board, and I wasn't able to get either of the onboard nic ports to work either. Does anyone have a suggestion on why my realtek cards would be working, but only super slow?
