Thanks man, that did the trick

    Dell Inspiron 1720 Vanilla 10.6.2

Thanks alip. In addition I added ClamshellDisplay.kext to the mix (S/L/E) to put my Inspiron 1720 to sleep when I close the lid. 10.6.3: ClamShellDisplay not working any more. Go here ClamshellDisplay replacement: LidSleep.kext
  4. Hi mrjanek! Found this out: No digital out with the latest LegacyHDA.kext for my ud3lr. Got it back with an older LegacyHDA from Post #1. Just to let you know
  5. Worked perfectly for me, mrjanek, THANK YOU. Just one thing: My wireless pci network card Asus wl-138g v2 is not recognized . I'm pretty sure it showed up as Airport when I installed Snow Leopard 64 bit on my Asus P5K board. Why is it not recognized on the Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR? [sOLVED] Well, works now. Just switched the card to the other pci slot, believe it or not, that settled my problem with the WL-138g network card .. right hoo, mrjanek Thanks for your effort!

OSX 10.5.8 is now in software update

Well, for me works that too, but at the cost of core 1-4 of my CPU running at 69 Degree Celsius instead of 48 Degrees Celsius with 10.5.7 - i.e before the Update to 10.5.8 Runs cool under 10.5.8 with the 9.7.0 Vanilla Kernel though

    10.5.8 deep sleep problem?

yep, worked. Installed the 10.5.8 AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement and sleep worked again. I use also VoodooUSBEHCI.kext, but that's all
  8. Okay, thanks!! That worked. How can I get "sleep" back to work on my Asus P5K? Do you know? It is not a problem with Efi v9 or DSDT.aml nor AppleIntelCPUManagemtn.kext, because sleep was still working with all these installed and just prior of installing 10.5.6 - Reinstalled the old usuals (post-patch.sh, which worked fine with 10.5.5), but that did not do the job ... OpenHaltRestart.kext not working, either Okay, this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=141584 settled it, thanks
  9. Same here. Nothing found on that. Superhai's solution doesn't work for me
  10. After installing EHCISleepEnabler my USB is very slow.
