LOLmoe
Hey guys. I finished my installation (which works 100% and great btw haha) but I'm wondering if I can change the Chameleon theme to boot in 1920x1080... I put " <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1080x32</string> " in com.apple.Boot.Plist also, I changed the resolution in the Theme.plist in the default theme folder. It still won't change, it looks ugly because my monitor has an overscan issue with some resolution, it has a black border around it. can anyone please help? Thanks. CruiSAr
Sorry, there is no known fix for this. I suppose you have a full HD monitor. I have the same issue as you. You will need to edit the theme files by strecthing them so they dont squish when the boot loader loads. Shantanu Khan
Sorry, there is no known fix for this. I suppose you have a full HD monitor. I have the same issue as you. You will need to edit the theme files by strecthing them so they dont squish when the boot loader loads. Best Way to get your Custom Screen Resolution 1 :: Get dowwn your exact screen resolution. 2 :: Open the theme folder for your bootloader For ex. Extra/Themes/Default 3 :: Open the Theme.plist file in TextEditor and scroll to the bottom of the file. 4 :: Add your screen width within the screen_width tag or some thing similar and do the same with the following screen_height tag and save the file. 5 :: Open com.apple.boot.plist in the text editor and add the following tags <key>PCiRoot</key> <string>1</string> and save it . Restart your pc with the new resoluion bootloader the way you like Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180403-chameleon-resolution-boot/#findComment-1752016 Share on other sites
kup
^^^ Unless the OP doesn't need to change his/her PCIRoot, in which case you'll have rendered their Mac OS unable to boot correctly..
