loudog3114
I currently have a pre-patched 10.4.5 iso, which one is it? Well, I forget. But I do remember it said it had the SSE2 patch. Now, are install images that claim to have an SSE2 patch going to degrade SSE3 performance? The reason I ask is because the dvd I have works great on my centrino 1.4 (SSE2), but on my celeron D systen (SSE3) it seemed very buggy. Deerpark (firefox port) wouldnt start at all, and firefox crashed pretty often. Is it because I am using an install DVD that is set up for SSE2 ONLY or should the SSE2 patch have no affect on an SSE3 cpu? Either way, I am now downloading the 10.4.6 spanish image on the demon. Anyone gone through this install yet? Anything I should specify during install for SSE3?
