I'm planning on buying another graphics card (my 6800gt doesn't work with OS X86), and I need some help trying to decide what to get. My spending limit is $350 (I'll buy it on eBay if I have to), and it MUST have dual DVI. I do not want VGA ports. Lastly, I want it to be able to run without any problems on OS X86, so that probably means it has to be ATi.

Hmm, and I guess before I ask this question, I also need to make sure of one thing I just remembered. Is it possible to have OS X86 read my computer's internal SATA drives yet? I plan on booting from one and having all my files stored on the other. If not, then completely disregard this question. :hysterical:

i know that with the current nvidia drivers, i cant connect a second monitor to my pc. im pretty sure the current ati drivers suffer from the same problem as well. the most (non-apple) compatible card is the gma 900/950 and even that cant do dual displays unless you get an ADD2 addon card. and the gma 9x0 series is by no means a grapihcs monster, i dont think that the card would perform all to well under those conditions. i guess if you want dual 24 inch monitors, you should wait for good drivers for non-apple cards, the intel based powermac or get a macbook pro and hook up a monitor to one of them. the x1600 is a good card - not as good as a 6800gt but, it can handle it.

If you have an nforce 4 chipset, no sata support yet. intel, it should be supported for sure.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the only way to run dual displays with OSx86 right now is with a GMA motherboard and an ADD2 card.

I belive you can run two displays mirrored on some cards. Otherwise, I think, dual spanning displays is only supported on GMA motherboards with an add2 card.
