conseld Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 Hello, everyone, well I'm creating this topic to try to resolve this issue knowing that the Atheros AR5007EG There many and many here in the forum without success, that much I could help someone as I am doing now days, reading forum for many sites without success and also . Got too many people is a problem and we can try a solution. Come on I installed on my notebook Acer apire 7720Z iAtkos v7 in which the installation was successful and that the problem in wireless AirPort. Version installed iAtkos 10.5.7 Download File IO80211Family.kext Opening the file in the file Info.plist AirPortAtheros.kext finding as shown below More information later in the Apple system is so. Then entered the terminal run ifconfig to see is true even ifconfig en1 Returning the file I edited AirPortAtheros.kext <string>pci168c, 428</string> Which could connect, well I did it right by many outside the forum did it and got success, but unfortunately not in my case When I took the file IO80211Family.kext was with other codes such as. <string>pci106b, 0086</string> <string>pci168c, 1c</string> Unfortunately does not work too. I am using Kext Helper b7 to give permission for all files KEXT and sometimes the Kexts Repair Permission. Well I did save the whole procedure as IO80211Family.kext reset and run the program KisMac selecting preferences drivers adding the Apple Airport card, passive mode. And select Start Scan, password, and without success in the icon above is just looking for something without success also. In terminal mode kisMac accessed below tries to connect and does not connect In more detail the KisMac pointing to this 205:10 b where our pci168c: 428 does not think he tries to find something that does not. When you run KisMac again the parameters change. Now doubt, because the KisMac do this and not feel the true parameter, and that I understand. Another thing, does something wrong I'm running IO80211Family.kext more. You are missing something that needs editing in AirPortAtheros.kext. Good people need help from you, I'm trying something here reading and reviewing several forum there. Getting wireless to work I will leave here by putting all the contact information. And you too. It functions the network and the internet well. Now only it has a thing, when disconnect its notebook and to bind again, it goes to need to all make the procedure, until the Kismac to connect the network. At this moment and the skill wireless to be functioned, But goes to search until finding a solution to set the internet, Case somebody has some thing here post. Does somebody have KEXT that it functions without the use KisMac? Running mac Os X 10.5.8 ideneb..(there shouldnt be a difference in wireless between iAtkos and ideneb) And Wireless will not work for my life! Can someone please tell me whether it is not possible (on a AMD machine?) or it is... thank you in advance ugh. If you need specs, i have a Acer aspire 5520-5912.. Quando eu ligo meu MacBook-Acer já deixo o wireless scanner (KisMac) When I start my MacBook, Acer now leave the wireless scanner (Kismac) leave open the beginning of the session I just put the password, the network appears HEHEHE right away, sometimes it does not work and hard place, but only once and has appears using the wireless scanner. As I did, I installed again v7 iAtkos 10.5.7, when he selected only option to customize the FIX KEXT etc etc, the driver selected the audio and videos, the device like wireless network and not selected. Installed and renice, well anything internet etc etc. I've done manually installing the KEXT, I took a wiggle in the IO80211Family.KEXT renomiei as TXT and ran up to find the folder plugin AirPortAtheros.kext -> Open that folder and clicked on the info . plist and put a command like this pci106b,0086 pci168c,1c pci168c,23 pci168c,24 pci168c,428 Save and gave all the permissions using KEXT Helper b7, but it also upgraded 3 KEXT IONetworkingFamily.kext, IOPCCardFamily.kext, IOPCIFamily.kext or even HDAEnabler.kext. One thing I used IO80211Family_kext_v.2.1.2.zip. These Kext you search google with the name Chun Nan's.
