EgoDeath
Its a mini usb bus powered access point with client/router/AP modes! - pluggs in the ethernet port (so you need working lan and usb port -just for power) I had one from my shop, but it broke lol.. made me think my lan port got fried for a few mins, but it was working, and connected to my wifi (with Wpa-PSK) you can find them pretty cheap on the internet, as low as £30-£40 on price runner.co.uk im gonna buy another one.. Model no. DWL-G730AP (D-link) UK D-link Product Page USA D-link Product page If your in the UK get it cheap from PriceRunner Or in the USA from ebay, because its no longer for sale.. giraid
first, maybe because of my stupidity, I dont get how that thing talk about work. second, £30-40 is like $70, I think a working PCMCIA wifi card only cost less than $30. EgoDeath
Well, for me (and a few other ppl) its the only option (bar buying and experimenting with the expensive mini pci express wifi cards.. theres like 3 out atm..) My pcmcia isnt working, so thats out of the question (cost about the same anyway). and £32 including delivery is not expensive here.
