MikeBuzzsaw
Building a i7 920 hackintosh. I play counterstrike source and do occasional video editing with final cut. I need two dvi ports so I can run dual displays. I also want the card to be as quiet, if not dead silent. What's the best card for that and at a reasonable price? GeForce 9400GT? http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-01G-P3-N945-LR-...6804&sr=8-1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179046-recommend-a-good-budget-vga-card/ Share on other sites
pirloui
9400GT would be fine, but 9500GT is better is the price isn't much more. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179046-recommend-a-good-budget-vga-card/#findComment-1222128 Share on other sites
TomCom
There are many passive VGA cards up to 9600GT GPUs, but it won't last long if you have a poor airflow in your case or game a lot, unless using a low-RPM 92mm or 120mm fan.
