walssin Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 Hi.. I have two hard disks.. One is 160gb SATA and the other is 40gb IDE... And the IDE hard disk is slave while the IDE DVD reader is master and I have tried out all the way changing them and it hasn't worked for me.. bingaling Posted June 10, 2012 Share Posted June 10, 2012 this may be a bit outdated but if you use iDeneb 1.4, that's 10.5.6 and select ONLY nForceATA in Chipset, nothing else, it will boot for sure and with network OTB... then you can worry about sound and so on later. it won't sleep but will restart and shutdown. what i've done is install it on a small partition to allow me extract the dsdt and then install lion from it, and use it as a means of fixing lion if it goes kerplonk, which i expect if anyone has any guides on installing lion on this board i'd love to hear them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
