  1. HELP! My hackintosh won't shutdown

I don't have that option. I disabled it completely and it worked but I kind of like having an Ethernet connection What a head-melter!
  2. Television

This is my graphics card information in System Report. Can anyone tell me what "Television: Yes" means? NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960: Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 2047 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x1401 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: VBIOS 84.06.0d.00.51 Displays: PL2480H: Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz (1080p) Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Display Serial Number: 11182M2B00826 Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported Television: Yes
  3. WIFI/ Bluetooth PCI card?

this one works perfectly for me (trackpad, keyboard and mobile phone links are perfect) http://www.macway.com/fr/product/12616/novodio-mini-adaptateur-bluetooth-21-usb-noir-portee-100-m.html
  4. Mountain Lion boot on in SafeMode

Hi bilalbg et al. I've got Mountain Lion working now with a 9400gt card. Problem is I deleted and replaced the files so many times, i'm not really sure if they are the Lion or ML files now lol... in any case, if you haven't got it working yet i can explain, just haven't figured out yet how to attach the files Worked it out So the files included are in fact the ML files, not the Lion files, with the exception of the NV Enabler. So it's the NVEnabler and the EFI string that's making it work. 9400 GT.zip
  5. Hi all, When I install Mountain Lion, it seems to be going well using this guide: http://blog.vondroid.com/?p=2631 but my dsdt.aml. Then when it should go to the selection of language, the screen switches off entirely - the installation appears to continue, the hard drive is still running. This seems to me to be a graphics card issue. I've had the same card working on 10.5, 10.6 & 10.7, never really any problems. Any help would be appreciated System is: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 Asus P5K-e WiFi/AP mobo Asus NVidia 9400 GT 1GB
  6. Eee PC 1011PX

@daz1uk -- for #1: voodoo hda and AppleHDA1062 in S/L/E gets sound working in Snow Leopard, not sure about Lion. no idea for the second as yet, i might get back to you... Did you get anything decent on the graphics front? i've 800x600 resolution, it's like the 1980s i've a few questions too. i've installed a wifi driver "Atheros.fix" which says Airport is operational but doesn't find any network. No ethernet yet, and keyboard and trackpad are not working... any ideas on those?
  7. Need to find the right graphics kext

the chances are fairly high that the graphics are Intel HD Graphics 3000. if you don't install any kext it should use the X3100 graphics kext and work natively, but apparently not very well... that said, i really never had any problem... i was able to watch videos and stuff, and if you want to play games, well stick with a PC the driver in your report is igdumd64.dll, which is indeed used for Intel 3000 graphics, though maybe for others too, i don't know...
  8. ASUS P5N-MX Guide !

this may be a bit outdated but if you use iDeneb 1.4, that's 10.5.6 and select ONLY nForceATA in Chipset, nothing else, it will boot for sure and with network OTB... then you can worry about sound and so on later. it won't sleep but will restart and shutdown. what i've done is install it on a small partition to allow me extract the dsdt and then install lion from it, and use it as a means of fixing lion if it goes kerplonk, which i expect if anyone has any guides on installing lion on this board i'd love to hear them
  9. 10.7.4 is OUT !

Hi all, My update went smoothly as always but several applications are broken since, including Chrome, Picasa, LibreOffice (required for work yikes), and perhaps others but I haven't come across any more yet. I've tried reinstalling them but no luck... I've also deleted all support files from User/Library/ApplicationSupport and repaired permissions before reinstalling but still they won't start, just bounce a few times in the dock and crash System is P5K-E Wifi/AP, Intel Core2Quad Q6600, NVidia 9400GT, Chameleon, DSDT file built many moons ago. QE is working, video card is not recognised as it should be (since 10.7.1) but works.
  10. Asus p5k drivers for mac osx Lion

i've a P5K-E wifi/Ap working perfectly if that could help you. i had to add a new wifi card and there's no sound on the HDMI (Nvidia 9400GT) but apart from those minor details it's perfect!
  11. (Info) Lion on Asus 1015PX

anyone got any info on what kernel to use for this processor? neither the legacy nor the atom kernel work... i've tried leopard, snow leopard and lion (retails and distros), with all kernels imaginable and dozens of settings, with no success whatsoever... Asus EeePC 1011PX --- work in progress Atom N570 dual core GMA 3150 Asus P5K-E wifi-AP Intel Core2Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz nVidia GeForce 9400GT Mac OSX Lion 10.7.2 --- working like a dream
  12. AMD C-50

Hi all, I've installed Hacks on several configurations but i just got a netbook with an AMD C-50 processor and can't even get to first base. If anyone can help, I'm all ears. Thanks. This is the netbook in question: ASUS EeePC 1015BX AMD C-50 dual core processor + chipset (as far as i can make out) AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics This is the config i'm writing on, which works like a charm: ASUS P5K-E wifi/AP Intel Core2Quad Q6600 ASUS nVidia 9400 GT graphics
  13. First Time Noob, OSX86 Installation Via USB

install iDeneb on a USB key, it really shouldn't be much of a problem, then install Lion from there. that way you will have a Mac to work from i'd advise iDeneb 10.5.6, since it's the one i've found easiest. you'll need to make a partition for OS x on your existing hard drive. 100 GB should suffice until you realise you don't want any other OS
  14. [GUIDE] Installing Lion DP4 + GM Without USB(Video)

start in safe mode and it should work. then change the Chameleon settings... something to do with graphics settings not being correct... methinks
  15. Should I give up for Lion?

follow the video guide "[GUIDE] Installing Lion DP4 + GM Without USB(Video)" and you shouldn't have any problems. and make sure you put fakesmc in Extra/Extenstions and dsdt.aml in /Extra
