Hello there...

I've been looking into this for a while now. Before I go through the painstaking DVD download process, I'd like to know something. Is it possible to install OSX on a PC with ONE hard drive (I don't have a spare) and no DVD burner?

I've read through some documents. From what I can tell, most people are either using VMWARE > hard drive kludges or burned Dev DVDs. Can I use an alternate partition for this task?

I would also like dual-booting Windows (I have a BeOS install, but it's not needed), if possible, but that's really not necessary.

All helpful answers are appreciated ;) Thanks in advance.

You can patch the dev dvd, then install it on a partition on your hdd, and dual boot it (even triple boot it, if you want to ;) ). You do not need VMware anymore, only your pc with a dvd-rw, and pray for compatibility... well most of the computers are :D

More details here "i'm a link"

Also you should know that a new version of this patch is about to be released, so read around...
