After installing ideneb 1.5.1 on my system when it restarts it goes to the apple screen, the wheel spins then stops and that start up music plays but the video dosent and if i click keys i hear like a chime sound in the background.

I tried booting in verbouse mode but the same thing happens it reaches the end of the text and just stays at the black screen with text while the startup audio plays.

Pentium 4

1 gig ram

nvidia 4400

when I use

"Graphics Mode"="640x480x32"

it says cant find graphics

boot in safe mode (-x) then install drivers for your nvidia 4400. don't know this card, ihave a gmd950, its very new or very old? i know that exist 7X00, 8X00, 9X00, GTX2XX but what's 4400?

February 2002... Very old, think no driver for it and it can even display no video in vesa (safe mode), upgrade to 8400 or something similar

Dont know is there a driver for radeon 9600, but it must work in vesa, if you are in moscow i can send it to you. (i have no more agp slot). but it may be broken.

when i use this

/sbin/mount -uw /

passwd root

touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

reboot

The computer reboots and still freezes at apple loading screen and the start up music sounds again

its very very old

I got the computer to work and perform decently without the drivers for it with leo4all 4.1 but upon updating to 10.5.7 it would no longer load so I used the ideneb disc but it kept getting kernel panics so i took the mkext and kernel from the leo4all disc and put it into the ideneb disc and voila it loaded and installed.

The problem is i cant even boot into the system im stuck at the enter your info screen and cant even view it so i need some way to bypass.

I noticed that i was typing the code incorrect after adjusting the system boots up and after a while freezes on the apple loading screen.

Well I tried installing again this time installing the NVKush driver, I get the same results.

Next I used the ipc disc but replaced the default voodoo 9.5.0 kernel used to boot with the 9.2.0 kernel used to boot the leo4all disc (voodoo 9.5.0 causes kernel panics the only kernels that I know work are 9.2.0 speed step, sleep and Qoopz 9.7.0) After installing ipc it rebooted went to apple loading screen, the spinning circle thing below the apple logo stoped spinning and the startup music began to play. Clicking keys on keyboard caused a sound to go off as if I was in the menu.

I also tried ideneb using a nvidia 5400 fx with the NVkush which yielded the same results.

Can someone please tell me why leo4all is the only build that will properly work?

It has a

Pentium 4 processor

1 gig of ram

NVIDIA® GeForce4 MX 440

p4sd-vx mobo with intel i865 chipset

Well I finally decided to give up, this isn't my computer I'm installing OSX on btw it my younger brothers. I decided to just use leo4all 4.1 and its working just fine. I do however have a few inquires. For one the graphics card, I know its old and all but I would like some drivers for it. I have read somewhere that Natit would work? where exactly would I find natit for my card and if for some reason it didnt work what exactly is the code I would have to type in chameleon to remove it. The other question I have is I want to install ilife09 and perhaps safari4, but ilife and safari requires a higher level of the os that i currently have and I cant update it.

Another question is that i have both a cd and dvd drive connected through ide but they don't show up in the system unless I insert a disc then they work. How do I get disc utility's and that eject switch on the top to work?

I ran into a problem. When I installed leo4all i created a fat partition for me to install windows. I just installed windows and can no longer access the chameleon bootloader. How can I boot back into the mac partition?

Edit:

I got the mac partition to be read as primary using the acronis boot disc but now I cant boot from it unless the leo4all disc is in.

The chameleon bootloader no longer starts up

FIXED

used osx86 tools to repair mbr
