kayoone
my osx86 box is running perfectly right now, everything works great, except the mic. I have a Asus P5Q Pro motherboard with some onboard soundcard (ALS someting). While i can get the Mic working, it is really quiet and if i pump it up the quality gets quite bad. This has worked with Windows perfectly before, under mac OS it doesnt :/ Since i do alot of business calls with my computer / voip i really need a decent solution for this so i ask you what to get: - a mic preamp so the signal is stronger and louder - an external soundcard thing which is mac compatible (is there anything like that?) - a webcam which works under osx including the mic (are there any?) Right now i use my MBP to make/recieve phonecalls which is quite energy consuming when i need to let it run all day just for that. thx in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175673-microphone-for-osx86-with-preamp/ Share on other sites
